Hey Everyone
Welcome to the August Edition of *rickmaniacs

Well it has now been 3 weeks since I took over this club.
I have been slowly trying to update, however with my workload at University at the moment, results are slow. Please be patient with me.

We have some new Affiliates added, please do make sure you go have a look at them and support them.
Also please remember to support the group, promote it where you can!
The more members we have the more we all can enjoy the image of Alan Rickman.

Remember you can submit your Alan Rickman affiliated art as much as you want, so draw away. If you’re unsure on how to submit, just click the link below and it will tell you all you need to know.

We have converted our scraps section into an area for Reference Photo's.
Anyone can use these photos as reference, but please do not them, as they are public photos, not members artwork.

Some Contests will be coming up soon with prizes.
If anyone is willing to donate a subscription for the club and/or for these contests it would be great. (Just note me)
I will be Donating the first one, just to get the ball rolling.

We also currently have a Poll running and the Forum has finally been posted in and opened.
All can be viewed at the right side of any journal/members page's, however the links above are direct links.

Hey Guys
As some of you might have read this club got put up for adoption by =sunshinecrayon yeterday.
As of today i, *kazzonline, have taken it over.
Now i know the changing of admins and owners of clubs can often mean that a club goes down hill, however im a devoted Alan Rickman fan and i will be bring this club back up to shape.
I've done my best to reply to all the notes, even those which dated back to the start of this year, and as long as you give me a few days, i should have this club up and running well again.
Please dont despear, i really want this club to work well.
Any suggestions i would love to hear from you. Also any new work and new members i also want to hear from you.

N E W S:
01 August 06: All right i am slowly adding some new stuff here, alot of the ideas are comming from my own thoughts and needs as an artist, which i figured it you guys too.

We now have made use of our SCRAPS bin and i have started adding some Alan Rickman Pictures that we can all use as some reference pictures to draw from.
I just found it wasnt always easy to find some decent pictures through a basic Google search.
If you have any you want me to add to the new 'gallery' then Note me with the link to the internet page.
The best place ive found to keep these sorts of things in PhotoBucket

Submissions

To Submit: If you have any artwork that involves Alan Rickman or any of his roles, please send a note to us entittled 'Submit' or 'Submission'.

Feel free to send as many artworks as you like, however please send each bit in a seperate note as its easyer to keep track of what i've submitted.

Submission are limited to Members, however as you have seen above it is very easy to become a member.

We also will be taking any form of writing or poetry as long as it has something to do with Alan Rickman.
You may also place a submission in your join note at the same time.

Original work ONLY please!
*rickmaniacs will only accept work that is original and not copied from the work of another artist.
You may use photos for reference but please make sure that they are public photos (eg. celebraty photos) or that they are stock photos.
These are not only our rules, but the rules of DA as well.
